The Sensory Supply

The Sensory Supply

I had an incredible experience working with Nancy. From start to finish, she was professional, very detailed, and helped guide my initial vision into a fantastic new visual representation for our company. I was referred by a colleague, and it was my first time working with a true professional designer like her. I've spent countless dollars on run-of-the-mill graphic designers in the past, and the difference in work ethic, input, and results were night and day. From the very start, Nancy was clear about her strengths and how she communicates, which allowed us to communicate effectively—which went a long way, as I'm not a creative or experienced with graphic design. Nancy effectively guided my input so we reached our mutual design goal. She was also open to exploring some of my quirkier recommendations, and then provided direct feedback on why X would or wouldn't work for Y. Our final company branding is something I'm extremely proud to share with the world, and I get excited at the thought of the opportunities it'll bring to our business. I'd highly recommend working with Nancy and look forward to the opportunity to work with her again!

The Sensory Supply is a specialty online retailer of high-quality therapeutic & recreational products that help neurodiverse or neurotypical individuals stimulate and regulate their body’s sensory nervous system.

The logo redesign reflects the sensory shop experience and audience expressed as a visual puzzle incorporating multiple themes: the buyer linked to users (bottom arc as pathway), two sides of an S shape, visual stimulation (wide eyed), positive outcome (smile) and a diagonal structure that evokes continuous motion.

Refreshed brand typography with minor edits to compact the letterforms and soften edges were made to complement the rounded icon shapes. For colorways, the original brand teal was brightened and supported with an expanded palette of hues to reflect the wide diversity of audience and users The Sensory Supply serves.
