Based in Denmark, Numena (meaning “a thing in itself inaccessible to experience”) is a secure online space for exchanging information as “your safe window to the world.” The notion of safeguarding data in a connected world (the internet) focuses on shared user connectivity within layers of encryption and a solid wall of protection. Whatever type of work being executed or shared from end to end via zero-knowledge services, Numena offers secure community services for online productivity and collaboration. The layered, walled box visual created from square letterforms was well-received conceptually. However, the equilibrium of free movement for user content within is the prime focus, shifting away from the surrounding wall now made virtually invisible to those outside. A friendly, inclusive typographic treatment was developed to embrace the citizen user over government bodies or big corporations.
Starting out with many conversations about our hows, whats and whos, Nancy took all of this and molded it together. She worked closely with us, finishing off with one single visual concept that expressed everything we stand for. Worth the investment! Once again, I would like to use this opportunity to thank you Nancy for all the effort you have put into making this logo. We are above and beyond satisfied with the end result!
